Many organizations have invested heavily into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and would like to make use of these systems as much as possible to comply with FSMA 204.
Share-ify can support your ability to comply with FSMA 204 through the CTE Data Service. Companies can feed event information to Share-ify’s CTE Data Service so that it can be accessed easily by customers and trading partners as needed without the need for VPN or other protected access often required with ERP and WMS systems.
The Food Safety Modernization Act’s Section 204 outlines a concept called “Critical Tracking Events” and requires companies to provide information to trading partners each time a CTE occurs. Companies must have this information available for a minimum of 2 years.
Share-ify’s CTE Data Service enables companies to transmit and store their information through Share-ify so that trading partners have ready access to the data they need for compliance.
Data can be shared via API, EDI, or even via an xls file upload. For subscribers to Share-ify’s Ver-ify solution, data would be shared automatically without any additional integration needed.
